does anyone know where I can get a pto shaft for a RM59-1 woods finishing mower? Need one ASAP

I hate to ask the obvious but are there any Woods dealers near you? Parts are usually still available.

Do you really need a Woods PTO shaft. I doubt they make shafts anyway. Why not try any tractor dealer or Tractor Supply.

Yep. If you still have a good yoke that goes on the big pulley shaft and can match that to a shaft at Tractor Supply or a dealer, that would be quicker and probably cheaper than ordering one from Woods.

I found one place that has them for $139.00... So rather than pay that kind of money I ordered a piece of 1 3/16 square tubing from agri supply and a yoke I will just make the front shaft. The back shaft is still on the mower so it will still work. The recommended outer tubing is 1 3/16 so it is only going to cost me around $80 to buy the pipe, yoke and joint. All I need to do is stick weld the yoke to the tube and it will be back in action.
