Hey all! Been looking at Grasshopper Front Mounts and some Woods Front Mounts. I pretty much know all about the Grasshoppers (I mean who doesn't :D) but I haven't really heard anything about Woods FZ Series Mow N Machines (now thats a great name for a Front Mount :p) A Woods FZ25D Diesel was actually the first Front Mount ZTR I ever tried but I was always awed by the Grasshopper. It was a very nice machine! (Also anyone with a FZ25D Diesel feel it has any vibration problems?) Just want to know what people think of the Woods Mow N Machines (still a great name), but the newer FZ series only ;)

Hey Toolcat

I too am looking at that machine in 2011. What were you able to find out about it? I cant seem to find a dealer who stocks them locally here.

Thanks

I wished I could have afforded one when I last bought a machine. The versatility, even when compared to a garden tractor, is almost unparallelled. I thought there was no comparison between the Woods and G-hopper. I liked every about the FZ, to include the dealer, so much better, I still wouldn't consider the G-hopper today. I would strongly look at the Gravely Rapid XZ too.

Tx Dbear. I dont have a gravely dealer close by unfortunately. I do however have a good woods dealer. Unfortunately they do not stock the Woods FZ mowers. I really like the looks of the woods and the versatility and cut quality of the front mount mower. Price seems right as well
