Woods BH80-X Backhoe

   / Woods BH80-X Backhoe #11
As Messick Farm recommended, do research. I checked Woods web-page and clicked on their "Dare To Compare" button.

I will be getting a Woods "Orange" colored unit soon. For the features, design and construction of the unit and a two year warrantee. A few more bucks is well worth it.

Now back to dealer search again.

You may want to take your own advice and look into this further. The Woods backhoe does not use a PTO pump, it plumbs off the tractor just like the Kubota does. Like the Kubota it also mounts on a 4-point subframe. The Woods BH80X is about 20% stronger than the Kubota BH75. Kubota's backhoe is a very nice hoe, it prices well, its easier to take off the tractor than the Woods is. Woods is a curved boom with is easier to dig a flat trench with and its more powerful. A high volume Woods dealer can sell a BH80 at only a marginly higher price than a BH75. I sell them both, we probably do about 50/50.

Based on Woods website the BH80x can be powered via tractor hydrolics or PTO pump.
