woods backhoe on a max26xl

what are people's opinion of adding a woods backhoe to a machine?

a dealer quoted one on a brand new max26xl, its a subframe mount quick connect with dedicated seat

are there any pro's/ con's to the factory unit?

The Factory subframe by far has more support. I replaced a rear axle housing several years ago on a customer who bought a used Max 28 (older version of the 26) with a woods subframe mounted backhoe. It is night and day difference in the subframe is all I can say.

thank john, i appreciate the info. i will stick with the factory backhoe. do you believe the axle housing replacement was caused by the woods backhoe?

It was cracked due to the backhoe mounting, but what was done to cause it is unknown, dropped off a trailer or general work i do not know.
