We would like to use the backhoe to occasionally lift a portion of the porch that is to be built over a stream during floods (to ease access to the culvert for cleaning).

Wanted to know what the lifting capacity is.

Thanks.

Looks to be about 1200 lbs.

Lift capacity dramatically decreases the further the boom is extended.

are you lifting portion of the bridge out of the way. so any limbs and like will go down stream? and then just letting bridge back down?

My owner's manual says nothing about lift capacity, and I would not expect it to as it also says the backhoe is not made for lifting. Plus the distance the load is from the base of the boom will make a huge difference.

The only reference I see to 1200 lbs is the minimum lift capacity of a skid-steer if that is what you are mounting it to.

Thanks for your responses, we decided to build it in sections so that we could lift a portion of it with forks so that we could clean the culvert underneath
