Woodland Mills WG24 with Non-Live PTO

I have a small Ford 1715 without a live PTO. I’m looking at the Woodland Mills WG24.

Has anyone ran this stump grinder with out a live PTO?

I’m thinking it would work if I took smaller passes… any input is appreciated

Unless you have a hydrostat tranny, I'm afraid it won't work.

Forget it!

Looking at how that stump grinder is meant to operate, it would be a royal PIA to move around a stump and keep power to the implement without a live pto.

I concur. I own this same model and its designed well and works well. Sorry it won’t work in your situation.
