Woodland mills stump grinder

I am thinking of getting a stump grinder from woodland mills but they want full payment up front but will take 3 months or more to ship.is this unusual or standard practice now?

I bought one earlier this year when the wait time was only 1 week. It's been a great unit. Prior to that, they normally kept them in stock and could ship within days.

I know they are seeing unprecedented demand for sawmills and other forestry products. Some of the mills have 4-5 month lead times. From what I can see on their Facebook community, they are conservative with shipping estimates and people have been getting their orders a few weeks sooner than estimated.

Worth looking into Baumalight as well. They're pretty much identical and closely priced. Might be able to find one in stock as well.

I have the 1P24 and it's worth its weight in gold.

I ordered one one on May 26. At the time of order the estimated shipping date was September 30. I got an email from them this week that my order had been sent to the warehouse but may take up to 4 weeks to ship. That should put me around late August, about a month sooner than expected. Definitely looking forward to putting it to work.

Seems to be the norm these days, the days of ordering large items that only get charged once shipped seem to be a thing of the past. Have noticed it with multiple companies.
