Had the opportunity to use the chipper over the last couple of days. I took the advice from another post and loosened the springs on the feed roller. What a difference on feeding larger branches. Those things are way too tight as delivered from the factory.

I may have to try that. It takes a lot of slamming sometimes to get it to eat a 5 inch limb, if at all taking it.

I got it to feed a 5" piece of oak, but about half way through it stalled the tractor. That took a bit of work before I could engage the PTO again to back it out.
