I see a few have had similar problems; my 2003 ("B" I think) started stopping abruptly and intermittently then got more often. After finding a cut in the small hose to the hydraulic tank and repairing (after running out of fluid) my TC ran ok for a while then started stopping with error code 50-30. Shut down, start up sometimes it would go sometimes not. Now won't go but maybe once in 50 tries. All other hydraulics work fine and strong, it just won't engage drive.
Does anyone know of recalls etc on this model? I have had it since 2004 without sending it in for service (and it's obviously out of warranty now). It is about 50 miles to nearest dealer here and I either have to drag it up on a rollback to send in for service at my expense or they come out and troubleshoot it/try to field repair for $$megabucks$$. The dealer says they don't even have a rollback so? If there are recalls that haven't been addressed maybe I can get them to repair it along with servicing the recalls. Right now I need it to drive to load and transport.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It has been a thoroughly tough and dependable machine otherwise.
