I have an early 5600 turbo machine that recently will not come out of rabbit mode. I believe the switch works because when I operate it, it will turn on and off the rabbit indicator on the dash. I can also feel a slight change in the machine like something is trying to work. I am thinking it’s a solenoid that might be stuck but I have no idea where to look for it. Can anyone give me some advice?

I have a newer G series and the manual for it. The electrical schematic shows the switch signal going to the drive controller, then the controller signals the 2-speed solenoid to operate. I looked and looked but couldn't find where the 2-speed solenoid is. I suspect it would be on the hydrostatic pump but not sure. I know in the past some people may have had a bad connection to the drive controller. Caution...it must be VERY clean and the little pins are delicate and can be damaged.

Since the rabbit indicator is working, it might be the solenoid or its connections. It could help to check around the solenoid for any debris or loose wires and maybe give it a gentle tap or clean it up.

The OP is asking where the solenoid is located.

Here is a T595 with the same problem and what fixed it.

Thanks for responding everyone.

My machine is a 2004 model year if that helps. I have looked through the parts manual and still not sure what or where the solenoid is.

I found something...there is a VALVE-2 speed and a SHUTTLE VALVE- 2 speed in both the front and rear drive motors.

The 2-speed valve in each of the drive motors is shifted by hydraulic pressure through a small hose connected at the bottom of the drive motors. Follow that small hose to find the solenoid block. (manual sucks)
