wobble fan blade for Mahindra 2816

Hi All,

My Mahindra has developed a wobbly fan (cooling fan). Any ideas what the problem is?

I have about 450 hours on this tractor with very few problems.

HST I assume, the plastic fan is in a position where it is vulnerable to damage from sticks and brush. Examine it to see if it is cracked or split, or has deformed to a degree. If it's not causing imbalance and resultant vibration, and still moving air it might not require immediate repair.

Continued operation with an out of balance situation will be hard on bearings. A cracked fan blade coming off at speed could be most interesting, probably dangerous. Careful inspection is in order.
