Wishfull thinking / cab for deere twenty series

Well I don't really want a cab, just gets in the way.

Then again - with winter coming around - kinda makes a fella want some warmth....

I have looked around at curtis and lauren i think it was.
Nothing for the jd 4720. I guess its just to soon after release of the new models. Anyone know a manufacturer that has or is looking into making a cab for 4000 twenty series.

I think Deere has a factory cab in UK but not here ??
What is up with that ! Safety standards rules maybe ?

Then again,, maybe a softside would be ok..

Jodale Perry has a cab coming out in 6-8 weeks.

curtis told me they are comming out this month. have seen noting from them yet.

I was told the same thing by Curtis. They will have something late in December. Hope that helps.

I guess the prices would be similiar to the 4710 stuff etc ?

I can already see wanting an a/c in the spring.

Hi there Deere in Europe sell this cab for the 4x20 series
5.5k USD

The price for the 4520 in Denmark is 50 K USD + 25% salestax.

I guess that i will get mine from TX or Florida, and then ship it home.

I expressed to JD that my sole reason for going with Kubota after buying several new JD's was because I wanted a factory cab with heat and A/C. It just so happened that after making the move I decided that Kubota makes a pretty darn good tractor. Anyway, I have since received a call (supposedly from JD, but I have no way of knowing for sure) asking if I would consider going back to JD if they had a factory cab in their 4XXX series tractors. I asked my local JD dealer about it, and he said that to the best of his knowledge that JD was indeed planning on coming out with a cab in the 4XXX series tractor soon. Apparently I'm not the only JD customer who wondered in search of a nice factory cab. I think that they will find that it is harder to get customers back after they lose them. There are now several good tractor manufacturers who make a cab tractor in that size.

I cannot believe John Deere has not made factory cabs for the compact tractors sold in the USA being the company they are. Could it be cost prohibitive ?
