They are there for adding auxilary lighting. Many of us have added fuse, and switch (relay/switch in some cases) for our auxilary lights.

I believe only one of those red wires is for auxiliary lighting/accessories. I think the other one is for a hydrostatic transmission temperature sensor (which US BX's appparently don't have). I've tried to hook lights to it, but it doesn't carry enough power, and all it does it trigger the "HST" lamp on the dash.

Do you know where the temperature switch mounts and what tractors use it? Is it possible to make it operational??? thanks..

I have to echo Junkmans question . And does it apply to the L series tractor ?? Seems like a handy thing to monitor . John

The aux feed is independent of the headlight circuit. It is only hot when the ignition is on.

Okay, Cerberus and Junkman, now I'm gonna pull a Sergeant Schultz ("I know nothing, I see nothing ...").

All I know is that was the info I got in response to one of my previous threads here .

I asked the same question back then in that other thread and didn't get a reply either. If I ask enough times, hopefully someone will come up with an answer? I think that I am going to examine the hydro for possible locations that might accept a temperature switch and go from there. Does anyone have a factory shop manual that might give the location or any more information? Possibly Art could look this up in one of his parts books or check with the factory representative when he visits next time???? Inquiring minds
