140 mbps sounds good. But I suspect that is your download speed. What is your upload speed. That is what holds most camera work up.
The 140 Mbps speed is not out to the internet, but between the house and the shop. The ethernet is riding on the 220VAC utility power conductors to the subpanel. Techically, just one of the two legs going out there. My camera system runs on my local server in the house, it is not cloud based on the internet.

My network ports are all 1 gig. I thought about pulling out one conductor and back pulling the conductor and some fiber, but the 140 Mbps is fast enough for 4 cameras.

Ahh, Thanks for the info. Sounds like you have it working very well. I like using your own server configuration. Sometimes when my upload is slow, I have a little buffering from remote locations.
