Wire Leads on XR4046

I have an XR4046 and tied off to the ROPS on either side of the rear fender there are (2) Power Leads, I'm assuming one would go to the Beacon Light (if I had a CAB) since I have a switch and no light and not sure what the one on the opposite side would do. Does anyone have either an idea as to what these (2) leads go to or a wiring diagram? Called the dealer and he told me to "plug something in and flip the switches to see if it comes on."

I'm pretty sure the 2 leads on your non cab model are for (2) beacon lamps. My cab model also has 2 plugs, one on each side for 2 beacon lamps wired to the beacon switch on the dash. I added my own LED low profile beacon lamp on top of the cab but it just plugs into the cig lighter plug. It should show in you owners manual.

I have the XR 4040 and have the same two leads. I used my volt meter to verify that they are tied to the beacon switch on the dash.

Went out and chased the leads and they did go to the Dome Light Switch...saved me from running a separate line for additional lighting .
