Winter, what do you like about it?

The pet peeve about winter thread got me thinking about what I like about it.

I love
-how pretty it is
-how clean the air is
-no bugs
-snowmobiling
-walks in the woods where it's usually too wet to go
-seeing animal tracks
-plowing snow (yes, I really like doing it)

Don't know if I love it but sure like it a lot.

Sometime around 1983 and 1996, there was snow flurries in Manatee and Hillsborough Counties. I can recall six times that there were snow flurries and a light dusting in Southwest Florida when I lived and worked there. Several times there was accumulation in the Panhandle. But you are correct about the pleasant winter weather down there around Lakeland-Polk County.
