Some HST's also need the clutch pedal blocked down- our Kubota came with a "specially made" wooden block designed to take the pressure off of the clutch....

Owner's manual should tell you what you need to do to store it safely...

are you running fluid filled tires? could you let almost all the air out to get you some more clearence and creep into the barn? you could easily gain a foot depending on the tire sidewall.
