i do believe the wind blew harder here tuesday than it ever has: blew off about a dozen shingles from the house, some from the garage, a storage building and the well house: even blew half the roof off a Martin house.
i made a quick trip to lowes and glued em back on the house, but didn't get to the other buildings, and with the weather we have now, i guess it will be a day or two before i do. i called the insurance co this morning, i doubt they will do anything, since i have the roof "sorta" fixed now, but i don't think that roofing cement should be considered a permanent repair..at least it will hold till things slow down in the roofing industry here and i can do a little shoppin for a roofer. folks were lined up at lowes buying shingles...
