I have a PJ deckover gooseneck which is 26ft deck, 4 ft is fixed, the other 22ft tilt. Having a hard time deciding where to mount a winch, its almost like I need a roller on the front lip of the tilt deck for the cable to pass over. I was wondering where PJ mounts their factory winch on this model trailer but did not find any helpful photos. Ideas/suggestions?

I welded a reciever hitch on my trailer , I put the winch on when I need it .

On PJ's site they show the winch mounted high (halfway up) on the goose neck and a roller in the middle of the tilt. Mine is a full tilt bumper pull so I mounted my winch on the front of the tilt.

If unsure, contact PJ customer support and ask them.

i did the same, I welded it to the top of the GN

That roller built into the front of the tilt deck is nice, wish I had our trailer built with that originally.
