Ok, here is an odd one, I have a Nokia Lumia phone, win phone 8, is black, this week one of my text recipients reports they are getting a text I sent them 4 days ago, each day, does not show up as a new thread in my thread menu, only original shows, also, strangely, looking back thru my threads I see a msg to someone in my contact list I have never texted, that person has the same first name as the person who is getting the duped texts, different last name though, weird, it is like a data base has incorrect entries, online search for similar issues shows some verizion android phones keep old data in a cache and it sometimes gets into new texts, that's anxroid though, not windows, anyone see anything like this? I have deleted my threads and rebooted, waiting to see if it does it again, last thought is it is the other persons phone hiccuping and seeing text as new each day

My wife has a Nokia like yours. She has no problems sending text , but regularly receives text that I send her 3-4 days later. Verizon is our provider

typing from my phone, left out something.

apparently the text i sent out, is resending to this recipient every day. IE, each day they get a text from me that is a copy of the text i sent 4 days ago.

I can't figure out if it is my phone or provider sending a copy of the text.. or if their provider / phone is just seeing a new text every day.

real odd. their provider is verizon and is some sort of samsung ( galaxy type product ).. mine is att and a lumia running win phone 8 and op sys is 'black' their op sys is some android build.. not sure.
