Will the CK27 be "enough" tractor

/ Will the CK27 be "enough" tractor #101
just finshed reading this interesting thread but noticed that no one mentioned that the hst ck 27,30 and 35 all use the same relief pressure on the hydro drive. so the only advantage to more hp should be at the pto for the hydro models. plus acording to spec sheet hp difference between ck 27 and 30 is less than 2 hp. i don't think that that would even be much of a noticeable difference. that being said anyone use a 6 foot finish mower on a ck 27 hydro?

I made a mistake the ck 27 and the 30 share the same relieve pressure on the Hydro. The 35 is slightly higher about 6% more.

I used a 6 foot Kioti finish mower with my ck30 hst. It handled it really well for the most part, the only downfall was when it got to thick and long it would bog down some but not that bad. I would definitely go bigger than a five foot IMO.

We run a 6' mower on our 29hp yanmar hst. Plenty of power. A 5' will follow the ground and cut nicer if you have a lot of contour changes though
