I am buying a John deere 4840 in Louisiana and having it shipped up to Indiana. It does not have duals but the axles do stick out past the tractor. Would this be considered a wide load are since it is just the axles around 10' wide, will that be ok not to have a wide load permit. Thanks for any help

They should take care of it and I have no idea on the cost.

I tow over-width loads in Indiana every spring and fall launching boats. The widest is 12.5' The permit cost roughly $50 here, not sure about other states?

The trucking company should take care of all this but each state will require a permit for anything over 8.5' wide.

Trucking fees should be about $2.50 per load mile plus a load and unload fee and the cost of permits, tolls, weight stations, ect.
