probably easier to fix the bucket than you think.. I've rebuilt a few..
as for downpressure.. is it setup so you can swap a SA cyl for a DA one.. it's not a trip model is it? even if it is.. many of us have made DA buckets out of trip buckets...

I bought the FEL (680 miles round trip!). Sad (more like pissed) to say, the guy lied through his teeth as to the condition of it, it doesn't have down pressure and he sold the finish mower before I got there, after promising to hold them both(fuming mad). I hate CL posters. The bucket is tiny and has a hay spear welded into it. I'll likely just make a new bucket or buy one, as this one doesn't seem worth salvaging. The rest of it may or may not work for my 336.
The good news (at least there is some) is there are three valves, not just two, so I can expand it to include a rear remote later on (wood splitter/hydraulic top link!).
I'd appreciate seeing some pics from those of you who have a 336 (or similar), as I'm not sure how the mount is supposed to attach. Anyone willing?
Oh, and the Lexington, KY area is beautiful. I've been pretty home bound since gas prices decided to go into orbit. Was nice to go on a road trip.
I suspect you might have gotten an old Freeman loader. That is what I used as a base to make an FEL for my Mitsubishi. I got just the frame and trip bucket ( No cylinders or valve) for $75. I cut it completely apart. I narrowed it and shortened the lift arms. I used the subframe and mount pieces to make those pieces for my machine. Patient watching produced new cylinders and joystick off Ebay. Fittings and hoses came from local farm supply store and any additional metal needed for the mounts,subframe and fabricated new full size bucket bucket were purchased at the scrap yard for 25 cents lb.
I have no doubt you can adapt your loader to the 336.....may take some effort but you'll be able to make a custom rig. Google images has some decent pics of "Yanmar 336 loader" for mounting ideas.
340 miles from Lexington, wow! That's a haul! I live in S. Illinois, not too far from Paducah and I think I'm about that far from Lexington area. Are you in W. KY by chance?
