As I said before the wife has taken a real liking to the new tractor, she decided the back pasture, being pretty flat and open would be her first test, I thought she did a pretty good job....

She sure did a good job. My wife occasionally bush hogs with our L5740, but spends most of her "free time" on "her" BX2200 or BX2660.:)

My daughter does most of the tractor work at her house (my son in law admitted that she had put most of the hours on it). She does all the mowing and he does the garden prep using the tiller. I wish my wife was more like my daughter. I cant even get my wife on a lawnmower.

My wife mowed our old place once back in the 80's. She zoomed thru a couple rows of strawberries, still don't know if on purpose or not..... :)

My 21yo daughter's boyfriend offered to do some mowing and spraying for me a few weeks ago... my daughter told him to take a number, she was ahead of him in line to drive my Kubota... and she was pretty sure that my wife (her mom) was in line in front of her. It is a pleasure to mow with the Kubota, gives me a break from hours in front of computer in desk job.

Now if you can train her to weed eat.

My wife bought a battery powered weed eater when my back started giving me troubles 2 years ago. I start mowing, she starts weed eating, then when she is done weed eating, she takes over mowing and I start sweeping. This is on our lawn, not the fields... It goes well and we enjoy working on making it look nice.

I bought a Kubota with a 60" deck to cut down on mowing time. There is a saying about reloading, it doesn't save you money, you just shoot more, same with mowing, we now just mow more stuff.

I sent my wife and kids out to the wheat field today; I told her to finish before midnight so she can make my dinner......:D

Seriously TripleR; I have two large slash piles with stumps, roots and all kinds of debris all ready to burn this fall. I've been gnawing on my vendettas for 12 years, and I'm finally getting some things done around here.

I was digging some stumps today and was thinking how the tractor may have met it's match, then I tried to load a root by hand (kept rolling away) and I could barely lift it into the bucket; eye opener on the power of hydraulics.

My wife drove our 3016 on delivery day but has let me have all the fun since.
