I finally removed my shade as there were too many things to watch while mowing. The mower, the FEL and the shade was just too much.

She owns this one for sure with the pics and all. I have done much worse. Laugh about it and go on. She seems like a real gem.

The next time my buddy's wife destroys the mower deck again mowing the woods, I'll cheer him up with "at least it ain't stuck in a tree!" I'll wince when he says "Well, there was that time..."

I don't think my sense of humor is as good as hers. In a similar situation, I'd be all mad, and the limb would have my teeth marks in it. I admire her attitude, since getting all upset does not help a single thing. Also, she is a very intuitive person; intuitively knowing you guys are a bunch of old farts!

Well, I really think she has passed her initiation with flying colours and should now feel right at home posting her own threads and telling us about her 'old mans' misfortunes.

I (and the wife) appreciate all of the positive comments.

One thing that will make her even better looking to the group--she makes the payment on the tractor every month.
