I was wondering if any of our RK55 owners here are using the Wicked Tooth Bar from EA? If so, what are your experiences/thoughts? It looks like a great option.

Thanks,

I'll give you some feedback from my perspective using a 55HP tractor with a similar bar added. I added a Piranha tooth bar to my Case DX55 a couple years ago, after using the naked bucket edge for over 10 years. I notice a huge difference when digging soil, dry or wet, with roots or rocks, you name it. It just plain makes it easy to work and fill the bucket. I was afraid I'd have to remove it for back dragging etc, but learned to use the heal of the bucket (like we're supposed to do) for smooth dragging. I also like the way it reinforces the bucket edge. Oh, almost forgot this... I really like the way it will shear or rip out trees by the roots. If mowing heavy brush I drop the bucket and float it on the ground as I approach trees and it clips them clean or tears them out buy the roots. Either way I don't have to worry about short tree "spikes" cut at mowing height that will puncture a tire next time through that area. Overall, I'm pleased and would buy either the EA or PTB again.
