BX2200
I have a BX2200, on the block it has a label that says
D905-E-BX and on the head another that says D1005-E-D16.

Is the same head used on both the BX2200 and B7500?

TIA

Dave,
These are most likely engineering numbers. Engineering numbers are not to be used as part numbers, they are used by the factory to differenicate between different raw and semi-finished casting. The finished parts may fit several different engines and have different part numbers due to the final machining and or parts added to them. A single head can be and are normally used on different engines within their engine family or group. Having said all that, “I know absolutely nothing about BX’s”.
