You did pretty well with the Kubota and the Bolens though, didn't you?

Don't bolens use B&S engines? Does MTD only buy & install the bad B&S engines? My MTD has cut 2 acres of grass every 2 weeks for the past 15 yrs. and I've had O problems. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

1*They didn't always use B&S.
My 1966 and 1967 have Wisconsin motors.
Bolens didn't switch from Wisconsin to Briggs until the seventies or eighties.
2*Mine was a bad one so it didn't make any difference to me if they do or don't.
3*Mine has mowed my yard every 10 to 14 days for the last 10 years but unlike yours was constantly plagued with this problem.
