New Holland 4630
My 4630 New Holland had a bad water pump one Summer and I filled it with well water every day for a 10-minute job because time to fix it was not there. After replacing it it pushes water out two or three minutes after you hit the road and the first antifreeze blowing out is cool when hitting my arm with the hood off. I have used the tractor for three years with a loader and no problem unless reved up. I pulled the radiator and flushed it with a 1 inch hose and appears to have a large volume of flow I pulled the thermostat and checked it in hot water. I pulled the water pump to look for a grease rag or a propeller loose. I stuck the large hose to the engine in both directions and lots of flow. I do not remember any bubbles in my antifreeze or level rising when revved up no water or oil mixing. could I have a compression leak over to the water? one owner tractor and it has not been ran hot. I forgot to check the water movement in the radiator to see its flow. please help me. the radiator is made where I can't see the coils. even Rusty it should cool some better. do I have internal leakage? I need some advice from someone smarter. I see some rust in my engine but not much.

Welcome to TBN. Running the tractor with well water was not a good thing. Minerals will build up deposits. I only use distilled water for that reason. If you've flushed and reverse flushed the engine and block and you know the thermostat works put it all together and fill with distilled water. No antifreeze is required to check things out. If you fill the radiator completely, as the water starts to heat up it will expand forcing some out. If your tractor has a catch tank the overflow should go there and if the radiator cap is tight when the water contracts atmospheric pressure will force the liquid back into the cooling system. If you've no catch tank fill the radiator only to the point the cooling tubes are covered. That will leave room for expansion. If your thermostat is working properly all should be good. If you continue to blow water after a heating and cooling cycle there may be further problem to investigate. When done testing drain the distilled water and refill with the proper anti freeze mixture.

Probably not getting all the air out on refill - extremely common problem in automotive applications.

I highly recommend only using pre mixed antifreeze, the little extra cost can definitely help avoiding future problems.
My tractor appeared to be full of antifreeze when delivered but after about 30 hours it was pretty low so I refilled it, it now has 190 hours and never needed any more antifreeze added, I figure there must have been some air trapped in the cooling system somewhere when it was new.

I always poke or drill a little hole in the thermostat on the flat part to let air out. I do it on all, every time. I saw it first on a jap vehicle in the eighties and thought it was a good idea and went with it.

Put a hand full of dishwasher powder soap in cooling system to flush radiator. It doesn't foam. Run it a few weeks in there. Just running a water hose through it won't clean it. It takes detergent to do it or get it rodded out. I go for detergent. If you have only 4 flues open, water hose will show it's good, when it actually is not. We have a 4630 and it needs a radiator. Dad just told me. Ours has gear shuttle. Low profile. 94 model. Been a nice tractor.

No corrosion protection with just water. Does that engine have cylinder liners
