why do they make videos

I have found video's to be extremely useful, ya you will always have video's were the person hasn't a clue but for the most part they are useful. If I can watch someone take apart my model washing machine and replace a part it just makes it so much easier and faster for me to fix it that's what I'm gonna do.. I have saved a lot of money and time from watching others do what I need to do..

My last useful video was replacing my I phone battery, I would have broke the phone in two if I hadn't watched the video on how it's done..

to a smaller extent why do people post on this board????????????????????

most likely for much the same reason they post to you tube,

I have two videos on line, as I wanted to show some people I know on the net what I was talking about on a different forum,

and many years ago when i built my back hoe and post pounder, I wish I would have some good footage of there builds, for the possibility of showing others the process i used, and hopely help some one that wanted to do the same,

I know when I go to build things I search for videos and the like to see the features I would like to add and use, and hopefully remove some of the undesirable ideas of some of there creations,

TBN is a place where some people come to ask questions, and others answer them.

You Tube is kinda the opposite, where people provide answers before you ask the question.

Both sites are possible because there are some people that like to help others.

Youtube is today's encyclopedia. You can learn to do just about anything.

Some people learn by hearing, others by doing and others by watching. Where you going to watch someone change out the motors inside the actuators on a Toyota Tundra? Saved over a $1,000 doing a job that was shown on Youtube.

Funny to see people complain about people who make videos yet they post in online forums.

I guess you could also ask why some people post so much in forums. What do they get from sharing their experience? It takes a lot of time too and I know you aren't making a dime off it.
