Why Deleated?????

I know a week or so ago I started a thread about the World War Two Memorial, Obama administration announced its objection to adding President Franklin Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
My thread was deleted and I was never notified, I know I don't own this site but come on, World War Two Memorial

Roy go to the Front Porch and in the upper left corner is a link to the forum called " Friendly Politics " but I think you have to tell Muhammad you want to be allowed in.

Nope I went there and thread is not there, don't see link but why would anyone who loves their country have an issue with that thread and delete it? Come On World War Two and FDR, hate to think where or what we would look like if that don't happen, So again Why Deleted ? It's all about Veterans Day for Gods Sakes!

Start a new thread in there then.
I can see a thread about "Obama Administration Opposes FDR Prayer At WWII Memorial" getting political in a hurry and political discussions outside of the "Friendly Politics" forum are not allowed.
My guess would be that there were a few responses that got out of hand, they were reported and the whole thread was removed.

Political posts in the general forums are usually moved to a holding area if reported by the general TBN population. Then the original poster is usually sent a message that the post has been removed for political content. If the original poster would like it reinstated in the political discussion forum, the poster should make that request to Muhammad.

Also, if anyone wants access to the political discussion forum, they have to request it from Muhammad.

As for not receiving a notification that your thread was removed, that happens once in a while. Please contact Muhammad if it happens.

Nope, I wasn't aware of that forum. I am now though...
I was one of those who, when asked if there should be such a forum (this was several months ago), said politics didn't belong on TBN...so, never really looked for it.
Even the thread that instigated my "awakening" wasn't really political, in my opinion. But it was controversial.

I think you're mixing up the addition of FDR's prayer on D day to the WWII memorial with the false rumor that an FDR quote already on the memorial was misquoted.

BLM Director Abbey said the Interior Department opposes the addition of the prayer because it would detract from the memorial痴 purpose to honor the service of American troops in World War II.
