Why are we still using ethanol?

She said, all she sells is, E85, E95, and diesel.

Clearly, this isn't just a US thing.

I noticed this morning at a local convenience store: E10 - $1.99 , E0 - $2.75. It cost .76 cents more per gallon to buy gasoline without corn in it....ridiculous. I eat corn and feed it to my livestock. I don't want it in my gasoline especially when the government (my tax money) is subsidizing it.

Just goes to show how poor of quality E10 gas is when you have to pay a premium price for gas without any ethanol from corn in it.
