4500 Mahindra
From what I understand, Mahindra is now the World's largest selling tractor brand. Now, I don't know if that is in units or gross sales. In any event, Mahindra sells a lot of tractors. However, whenever I look at the number of people viewing this forum, it is always less than Kioti and even Bobcat, let alone John Deere. Is it because Kioti was introduced earlier? I thought Mahindra entered the U.S. market long before Kioti. And what about Bobcat? Just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe someone with more insight into the U.S. tractor market can explain it.

Could be Mahindra Owners are not as active in the Forums?

Mahindra is the top in number of units.
It might be that their tractor s have less issues than other brands.

Could it be they sell more tractors worldwide, but what percent is in English speaking countries? Maybe most Mahindra owners live in 3rd world countries.

Just food for thought, I have nothing against Mahindra tractors, I would have considered buying one but there are no dealers near me.

Maybe because us Mahindra owners are actually outside enjoying our tractors, poping out stumps, and moving things.......... :)

I view "Todays Posts". This includes all forums, but doesnt show me as on the Mahindra forum per se. ... Maybe many Mahindra owners do that.

I have Mahindra, New Holland and IH. Currently looking at a John Deere. I also prefer to view Todays Post section to see all of them.

I have a GREAT Kubota dealership ~5 mins away, several branches of a Deere dealership, a large Case IH dealership branch, a good NH/Bobcat dealership and a large NH/Kubota dealership branch within 20-45 mins.
All are well established, primarily deal with tractors or farm/construction equipment and have been in the area for a long time.
The closest Mahindra dealer is ~15 mins away, but they are primarily a Powersports (ATVs, Snowmobiles, etc) and Lawncare (ZTRs, weedeaters etc) dealership. If they need something Mahindra related, they would have to order it (and they MIGHT have sold 5 tractors since they picked up Mahindra a couple of years ago). The next Mahindra dealer is ~1hr away.
Why would I go with Mahindra? If I am sending something in, it needs major work and someone who knows their stuff, not someone who sees one tractor a month.
If I need mower blades for the Cub Cadet or something mower related, I will go the the Mahindra dealer as they get Stens/Woods parts and I have have had better luck with their blades than the OEM Cub blades.

I really would love to own a Mahindra, but I could only afford a Yanmar. Mahindra makes very nice tractors, I have 2 Mahindra dealers near me, I have been to TractorErnie's and he has pretty much sold me on one. :D I think it will take time for it to sink in, Mahindra is still not quite a household name like Kubota or JD, but just wait, a few more years and this will be the busy forum with all the mahindra owners showing their new tractors, asking questions, and posting their recent mods and builds to work on their tractors. I too use the Today's posts part, then you can keep up with the forum and what is all going on. it also makes it easier to follow hot topics.
