Congratulations. Yanmar are quality built and very nice. I’m sure that you’ll be happy.Guys thks for all the responses- I just bought a 2021 Yanmar YT235 with just 60 hrs- 50 hr service done and the guy never even used the PTO- For $19K I thought it was a steal-
I got more Massey tractor than Kubota for $20K less! John Deere was an even wider spread and the "right to repair fiasco" turned me off. $40K~$60K extra for a tractor I cannot fix or do basic maintenance on is a NO-GO for me.One could ask the same question as to why Deere and Kubota are more expensive than a better-equipped MF. I don't have any reasons to add to what previous posters have identified. For me, it came down to the dealer. If TYM floats your boat go for it.
Dang, that's a stealCompare?
B2601 with 400 hours in great shape, loader and turf tires for 12k/ With a rear mount snow blower (unused)
Motivated seller?
Our early ones came from Waterloo and later were not too far away. We never owned a Yanmar based JD.I hear that "I purchased a John Deere years ago
great tractor no problems" What they don't understand is the tractor probably was made by
Yanmar as Yanmar made tractors for John Deere for 20 or 30 years. Yanmar tractors have a 10 year warranty and not many other brands have a warranty like that.
