Back in about 1980 my neighbour had a tandem load of manure behind an 85 hp International when he did a left turn on the highway as a woman in a Volvo passed him. The car clipped the left front wheel. The impact totaled the tractor because it broke the engine/frame casting and split the tractor in two. 16 tons of manure kept pushing until it had ground the cab right into the front axle, though my neighbour wasn't badly hurt. $20,000 damage.

The lady in the Volvo started her car up and drove it to the nearest garage where the mechanic replaced the grille and radiator at a cost of $900.

I have it on good authority that the tractor wasn't properly chained down on a trailer and it slid off going around a corner at 65mph when the left trailer wheel hit a big, deep pothole! :laughing:

Step #1. Jack up the radiator cap. Step #2. Replace tractor. Step #3. Lower radiator cap and twist until secure.

It's plain to see what happened. 3Pt. implement was a tad too heavy, dislodged left rear wheel which catapulted into the air and contacted the hood:thumbsup:
