Comparison Whole Body Vibration, best choice small size tractor.

Hello.
I am an "grown up" student from Norway who is intrested in the subject
concerning Whole Body Vibration. (WBV)

Has someone any thoughts or experience on this matter?

I am now investigating small tractors. The cheaper Japaneese has been increasingly popular in Norway.

Like the Iseki in this size:
Iseki TH4330 - Kompakttraktorer - Parkmaskiner og hagemaskiner - Mascus Norge

I find them not good when looking at results at vibration measurments.
(Human exposure from seat)

Is there any tractor producers (in this size) wish is more favorable than others?

I will be happy for any comments!

Your problem here will be getting anecdotal data rather then quantitative data...I expect the results would not be usable in any kind of study.

Perhaps you should provide more specific criteria as you what you want and how it is to be measured.

I know from a seat of the pants feel, the manufacturers using the Mitsu 4 cyl are very smooth and quiet machines.

I find that the GC26XX is pretty smooth at higher RPMS than low. As for the others I cannot speak, as I don't have long experiences w/ engine, work time.

Excessive vibration or vibration for extended periods can be detrimental. Best example I've ever read about was use of chainsaws. IIRC, extended use can result in numbness in the fingers and hands. Circulatory problems too...again, IIRC.

I can't really see how a tractor could cause problems...maybe some of those older machines with steel sprung seats.

I get good vibes from my tractor. YMMV.

Seriously, this has got to be the most technical, eccentric question ever asked here at TBN.

I am not harping on the OP. I wish him or (her) the best in their research.
