I have found my wit's end working on my tractor. The JD 4610 has factory installed rear HYD for top/tilt and apparently some attachment, (never used yet) and my problem is that when switched from front to rear or vice versa the tilt function (rear and top function) rear both work with the switch set to rear. When set for front or loader, the tilt works fine, but the up and down does not, and now when switched to front, the rear top cyl works instead of the front loader up and down.

I have cleaned and change fluid, reseated the QDs as suggested, took apart the one solenoid valve I could find and it moves with 12 volts is applied.

Something is dreadfully wrong. This started as an intermittent problem last year and seemed only to be an issued after using the rear for a couple of hours. Then I could bring the tractor to idle and/or shut it off and the the loader could drop. No go now. Stuck.

It will move about an 2 inches up or down and the HYD pump does make grunting noises. Seems like some check valve somewhere is stuck, but I do not know. HELP anyone who has knowledge? I'm stuck! HUGS - Troy
