I'm looking for wrenches, sockets, impact sockets and driver made in America large enough to work on NH tractors. Up to at least 2" opening with 3/4" or maybe 1" drive. Don't want to outsource our jobs; tools must be made here not just marketed thru American front. Thanks.

I think if you check with Snap-On they should have whatever you need.

Mike, I'm not sure about their sockets, but most, if not all, of Snap-On's air tools are made in Japan.

I bought a nice set of 3/4" drive SK Tools, off of ebay for my tractor. I paid a couple hundred bucks for them. SK are made in the states, (chicago area, I think), I recommend them. Proto is another very good brand. My best metric wrench set is my Snap On tools - they are indeed made in the states.

heres a very good place to get SK Tools

Bird with the prices that they command that really surprises me.

Mike, I've been out of the air tool repair business for over 4 years now, so there may have been some changes, but as of 4 to 7 years ago, to the best of my knowledge, Sioux was the only brand of air tools still made in the U.S.A. Nearly all the others were made in Japan, China, or Taiwan. Snap-On tools were plainly marked "Japan" as were the Ingersoll-Rand, Chicago Pneumatic, MAC, Matco, Cornwell, etc. I guess not many people can afford Sioux tools, but they really were the best, strongest tools I ever used or worked on.

Wright tools. They are made in Ohio. Very nice stuff to work with. You buy them from Mcmaster Carr . WWW.Mcmaster.com

Solo, according to their website, Wright has been around a long time, the specs on their tools look OK, and they aren't cheap, but I don't recall every seeing one of their tools, or ever even hearing of them, so I simply know nothing at all about them.

Sears has a set of 3/4" drive sockets. I recently bought a set of large wrenches from there as well. All of the sockets and stuff I buy at Sears still say Made in USA.
