Astro prototype. One of 18 frames Champion built specifically for Bultaco in 1973. There are some differences from a typical Champion frame of that era. One of these bikes (Mike Kidd’s) was sent to Spain to be the prototype for the Astro.

Has a Model 106, 350 Astro engine.

I Built a Champion framed Yamaha DT-2 about that same time. I forget where the down pipe came from, but did it ever make power!
