It's been promised that the insured will soon contribute less to Michigan's "MCCA Assessment Recoupment", an entrenched subsidy of Insurance Companies. It's so they never have to pay more than $10 million per crash victim for IMO medical experimentation. (sorry to say it that way)
In MI, if you have a cycle endorsement your basic medical coverage is taken from your auto/truck policy by law. I plate and insure two cars, one truck, and one bike. My problem is paying the 'crash tax' four times when I can only drive one at a time. Two to four people sharing one car can put five times the miles on a car and pay once. 6 month policy periods split the annual cost per renewal on auto & truck policies.
Anyway, here's my last year's 12 month renewal with a whole year of the 'tax'. No full coverage on any vehicle here since I don't put 5k miles on all put together. btw, Got Progressive?
