Oh, I don't doubt that. As an overall organization however, I don't think the 1%er reputation comes from nothing. They all consider themselves to be a club, but they act like a gang. They claim territory, and they will make life and death issues out of another gang infringing on their territory.Interesting, we ran into a few Angels on the way and way back, it was just me and the wife and we got along with them splendidly!
We have a local chapter of the Iron Horsemen. My BIL is a member of the Teamsters, and they also have a club, with colors. The Iron Horsemen were concerned that both groups had a horse on their colors and there might be confusion between the two groups. (The Teamsters have a normal horse head, and the Iron Horsemen have a horse head skull. They don't look much alike, but whatever.) The resolution was that the Teamsters were NOT to wear their colors when riding through an area that the Iron Horsemen consider their territory. Serious consequences would have occurred if the Teamsters had not backed down.
With all the real problems in the world, I just don't have respect for any group that would make such a big deal out of something so stupid.
