Who Payes the Bills

I pay my business bills. wife pays the rest

I handle the computer banking and wife takes care of the paper checks and IRS estimated payments.

I make the money and I pay the bills...Kinda like "Leave it to Beaver" around here. We are only 40 but the wife told me when we were dating she wanted to be a "kept woman"...Whatever..Works for me.

Wife took care of bills for over 40 years of our marriage.
We have 2 bank accounts.
Now that I am retired. I take care of the credit cards she does the rest of the bills. :confused2:

Wife and I both work. I take care of the bills with some electronic transaction and some checks written out of a joint account. "Our bills", "our money", usually works pretty good.:thumbsup:

I write the checks for my business bills. Wife writes the checks for her business bills. We both contribute to the household bills but she writes the checks.

The wife and I share 50-50.

That is I earn the money and she spends the money. She mostly does online bill pay and many repeat bills get paid directly to a credit card for a single payment at the end of the month. Have not carried a balance on the credit card in years.

I do get to carry a debit card and credit card but rarely have more than $20 cash with me.
