Rear Blade Who owns a Howse 'Farm' Rear Blade?

I did a search but didnt find any comments on this specific blade, just Howse implements in general..

The Howse Farm Rear Blade is the medium duty, tilting rear blade that Northern Tool sells that looks very well built (especially compared to the 'grader' blade). Anyone own one and care to comment on the durability/construction etc.?

Be careful with the Howse import model versus the one Howse makes. I got one of their imported model dirt scoops and it lasted two hours.

I have one. Not too fancy but it works great. I used as a leveller to level dirt and to plow snow in the winter. It's really heavy so I don't need extra weight.

As far as 'not being too fancy', can you expand on that?


I need a rear blade for snow (if we get any - in the past 4 there has been hardly any) - and I wanted something heavy for rear ballast for light duty FEL work. The price seems right as compared to a Frontier ($650 to $750) - as based on specs they both weight similar amounts..

PBinWA - A better question to ask you is - Do you regret buying it (vs a land pride, woods etc) and would you buy it again?
