http://www.a.as-us.falkag.net that is what initially loads on my computer instead of tractorbynet.

Sounds like spyware. Go to lavasoft.com and download Adaware SE. It is the latest and greatest. It will give you updates too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's apparently one of the links for some of the ads. I mentioned in the "slow response" thread that whenever TBN slows down for me, it's because my computer is waiting for that .net site to load.

As you can see, it's a German site -- the "AG" apparently refers to the German corporate structure, similar to out "Inc.", and not to anything to do with agriculture, as I first guessed.

Sometimes it will slow down the loading of a TBN page by as much as 10 seconds, but that is not reflected in the TBN time stamp.

When someone has a slow down problem on TBN, most of the time I don't notice it. This is the exception, this falkag.net is really slowing things down.

I run spybot and adware quite a bit. OK, I'll edit here while I can. Falkag was slowing things up or at least so it appears to be from their end that I was thinking they were gathering data on browsing habits.

We were given new ad code to insert, that I'm told will resolve these problems. So, we'll see. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Mine is screaming by now. I would never have even noticed falkag.net if it was going as quickly as it is now. See, when you know how to deal with the big guy, you get things done. Thanks Muhammad.
