My dealer called today with what he says is a good deal on a TB100. Ive been looking hard for a 7610. He says the the TB100 is basically the same as the 10 series (same Genesis engine, tranny and rear diff) but with a flat deck, side controls and new hood design. Do you agree with this? Are you pleased with your TB100. Has there been a time when you needed more HP or gross tractor weight? IF so, what were you attempting to do or what implement were you attempting to use? thanks.

Welshman, My computer will not pull up that PDF. I finally found some specs on another site. Looks like the TB series has a wet cluch as apposed to the dry clutch of the 7610S. Im assuming this will be an improvement?? Looks like the total wt is around 7000# which I think is about what the 7610 weighs. Wish I could find a TB 110 as it is 90 pto hp. rather than the 80 pto hp of the TB100. Any more insite, info, insite ect. is greatly appreciated. thanks again

Rick, is it in fact true that the TB100 and TB110 has the same engine, transmission, and rear end as the 7610S? Is it basically the same tractor with shifters to the rt, and different sheet metal? Also, where does the extra 10 HP come from in the TB110? thanks

Not sure about the transmission or rear axle, but the engine is an easy answer, no. The 10S engine does not meet current emissions standards so cannot be manufactured for sale in the US. I've not seen a TB in real life, but the 10 HP most likely comes from increased fuel delivery. You can go to NH's parts website and compare parts and pieces of various models to see what's what and where it is used. If you had bought a tractor when you first asked questions, the loan would be paid off and the tractor half worn out by now. :D:D

lol, well the loan might have been paid off but the tractor would not be 1/2 worn out as I dont really get to play with a tractor as often as I would like. Thats why Im taking my time and trying to get something Im really happy with. This tractor may very well last me the rest of my lifetime. thanks for the information. I actually had a 7610S mfwd bought a 2 weeks ago. I had the $$ wired and trucking arranged but got a call that the tractor had been stolen. Now Im waiting to see if I can still buy it through the insurance company. Bummer because it supposedly had about 900 hours on it.
