TractorData.com John Deere 4 52R tractor information says it is manufactured by JD using a Yanmar engine.

I also checked out our good friends at TractorData, however my interest piqued when a specific factory wasn't mentioned.
I haven't been able to locate that information. :confused3:

A little off track, but along the same lines:
My 2350 JD tractor was built in Germany, shipped to Canada, then to a dealer in NY when the Canadian dealership went bankrupt, then to PA when I purchased it from the dealer in NY. It may have been a JD, but I called it an "international tractor".
The 354 International-Harvester tractor I once owned was manufactured in England. So when purchasing products with well know U.S. name brands doesn't mean you are purchasing American made products manufactured in the United States. More so today, then ever before!
Both tractors served me quite well for the years that I owned them.
