Buying Advice White 2-65/Iseki T7000 Starter HELP!

My starter for the 2-65 is shot. Armature is shot I am told.

The starter is a Nikko with 2 sets of numbers 21000-5150 and 1-81100-227-0 , 12v and 2.5Kw

The engine is an Isuzu 4BD1 4 cyl diesel.

I am stumped. I have scoured every inch of the internet and cannot find a replacement.

When I look up a starter for a 4BD1 I get something like this

Any help is appreciated. I am out of ideas at the moment....other than just ordering starters that look like they work

Have you gone to the Dixie electric starters web site?
Also Maibach Tractors are good on the Oliver/White lineup.

Appears the only option is a new model but I am not certain it will fit in the space available. ugh

Thanks Peter and Tony. Both great suggestions.

@Peter I am going to see if I can get a new armature from there and get a local place to rebuild my old starter. Fingers crossed.

@Tony...you sir have made me feel stoopid LOL I need to look again today (it was late last night when I saw this). NAPA appears to have a perfect match...but its $900 ugh. But at least I have another manufacturer and part number to search.

I will report back because perhaps some other poor schmuck will make use of this in the future

Thanks Seth, Yes that version is a gear reduction unit like the ones on Amazon. In fact I have tried Global Parts and several other online retailers and they Want to swap out the direct drive original for a gear reduction version. I may have to go this route (its definitely cheaper) but I am concerned it won't fit in the space the old one did

New one actually puts the motor up higher and the reduction portion lower very much like the version FXRS posted above
