White 17 HP ride on mower blowing fuses

My White 17 HP (B&S Engine and elect PTO to mower) blows it's fuse when trying to re-start after use. Starts great when cold but instant fuse blow if restarted while engine is hot. Checked all safety switches in correct position, working, no visible chaffing of wire looms or bad grounds found. I am thinking starter/bendix but..... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try pulling plug and see if the fuse blows. If not try adjusting valves. There has been a lot posted on valve adjustment and hard cranking, and that could ciuse the fuse to blow.
