Which Tractor to buy? 4720cab,5055ecab or 5065mcab

I currently have a 2007 JD 4520 ehydro OS with FEL that I have been using for maintaining 10 acres around my home. Mainly bush hogging, loader work, grading driveway etc. I recently purchased the adjacent 100 acres next to my house and I'm looking at upgrading to a cabbed tractor. It mainly consists of woods but it has several 30 food wide paths that will have to be maintained as well as a five acre field that I plan to keep planted year round for wildlife. That will be the main uses for my tractor other than loader work, some clearing, additional food plots etc. I like the hydrostatic drive of the 4720 but I'm also thinking it may be good to go up in size to one of the 5000 series machines. I will be doing a lot more loader work and pulling a disc. Thinking that the M series might be a little bit overkill but worried that the E series machine will not be as nice as what I already have other than a cab. Please chime in guys. I would like to make a decision soon and need some input. Thanks in advance!

I'm a fan of the M series. Compared to the E, it would be a little wider, heavier, and has some better transmission options. It will have about the same level of "nice" as your 4520. Would you be keeping your 4520 also?

My understanding is that the "NEW" E models are much nicer than just a year ago. I have not seen any, so cannot offer any knowledge other than what I have read here and there. Look at both and lay out some spread sheets. It would be the best way to know what's what.

Those are the E's if I recall. There are a couple guys that has had the tank melt, but I haven't heard of any fires (yet). That's a good reason to be leary of the E's

If money no issue, 5065M with Power Reverser transmission. If looking for best bang for the buck, would consider 5065E also with Power Reverser transmission. Looked at one of the new "E" cab units recently. Nice looking set up.

Just got back from my dealer and compared a 5065e and a 5075m, both cab units. The M has a much nicer cab, better seat, and tilt wheel. i have decided against the 4720.

What was price difference between "E" and "M"? Both have Reverser transmissions? I went through this with Open Station units and found good deal on 5303 which is predecessor to 5065E. Have been pleased so far.

+3 on the power shuttle and if you go with the 5075M, make sure you get the 32f X 16r with hi-lo. You will be glad you did.
