Hi everyone,

Which tiller would work out better for a week-end warrior with a B7800 and a habbit of breaking things.

Woods GTC52-2 $1550
King Kutter 48" $1300

Thanks, you guys are the greatest..!

I just picked up a 48" KK on saturday... made quick work of 36 yards of clumpy fill dirt to a nice powder and a old 20 by 40 garden I no longer use. Works well with my BX2350

my 2 cents

I have had my 48"KK for three years now and till about 2 acres each year with it. I have hit more foot ball size rocks than I care to admit with it and it keeps on keeping on. Haven't really seen or used the woods so can't comment on it.

Mr shovel:

Have you checked into Carter and Carter Machinery? They can be reached at Carter and Carter Machinery, Hay Equipment Headquarters. They make a pretty solid tiller and their prices are competitive even with shipping costs. Their service and owner support is very good. Jay

I have a GTC52 on my B7610. It's a stout unit that has given me no problems after three years of use. If possible, I would go bigger on the B7800. Something wide enough to cover your tracks, or at least something that can be offset (The GTC52 can be).

Good Luck

Nick

That seems a little high for the KK. I got my 6' for ~1300+tax.

Dynasim:

I am always amazed at the price differences around the country. I always shop for the best price with several dealers and many times a TBN'er in some other section of the country will get the same attachment at a far lower cost (Maybe I should not wear my dunce cap when shopping for attachments .). I paid $1350.00 for my tiller, but had to pay $285.00 for a direct shipment to my home. CCM does provide responsive service and support. Jay

Question for KillerB,
I own a GTC 52" also which is a great tiller. paid $1150 for it. { brand new!} How can you off set it? I'm not standing in front of it right now but I thought after 2 years of use I would of noticed that feature.
